Senior Residential Support Worker - Children's Home
Full Time
We're recruiting for a Senior Residential Support Worker to join a warm, experienced and locally led children's home team in Staffordshire. This is a place where relationships come first, where children are truly known, and where staff are supported to build meaningful, long-term change in young people's lives.
Pay Rates: £14.00 - £15.40 QCF level 3 qualified or working towards
£15.85 -£16.30 QCF level 5 qualified
This is a small, independent and locally run provider with strong roots in children's residential care. The leadership team has over 20 years' experience in delivering high quality children's homes, supported by robust and capable Responsible Individuals who are actively involved in ensuring consistent standards across the service.
The focus here is simple: create stable, nurturing homes where children feel safe, valued and able to thrive.
The organisation is also growing, but deliberately and thoughtfully, with future expansion planned within the local area. A strong emphasis is placed on developing staff internally so that when deputy and management opportunities arise, they are filled by people who already understand the culture and values of the home.
As a Senior Residential Support Worker, you will be part of a close knit team supporting children and young people aged 7 to 17 who may have experienced trauma, neglect or instability in their early lives.
Your role is to provide consistency, warmth and structure in daily life, acting as a positive adult presence and helping young people develop trust, confidence and independence.
We are looking for people who genuinely care about making a difference and who can bring patience, consistency and warmth into their work.
It's ESSENTIAL that you have experience within children's Residential care as a RSW or Senior RSW before.
It's also imperative that you are a driver, as the homes are in rural locations in Stone and Eccleshall.
This is not a large corporate provider. It is a values driven organisation where relationships matter, staff are supported, and children are at the centre of every decision. If you want to be part of a home where you can genuinely see the difference you make every day, this could be the right place for you.
