Sgscare in Horsham, West Sussex, is seeking a Senior Residential Childcare Support Worker to provide high-quality care and guidance to young people in a children's residential home. You will lead young people's care and development, collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders, and handle challenging behaviors effectively.

Job Title: Senior Residential Childcare Support Worker
Location: Horsham, West Sussex
Salary: Base salary of £31,432.09, increasing to £32,817.82 after probation. Potential earnings up to £34,497.82 including sleep-ins.
Working Hours / Shift Pattern: Approx. 40 hours per week, shift pattern includes days, evenings, and weekends (every other weekend off)
Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time
Sleep-ins: Approx. 1 sleep-in per week at £35 per sleep
Service: Children’s Residential Home
Service Users: Boys aged 12–18 with challenging behaviours
Qualifications Required: Level 3 qualification in Residential Childcare / Health & Social Care (or willingness to work towards)
Experience Required: Experience working with teenage boys or young people with challenging behaviours
