Job summary

Venn Group is seeking an experienced Residential Property Solicitor / Conveyancer to join its established team in the South West. You will manage a varied residential property caseload from instruction to completion, handling freehold and leasehold matters, with minimal supervision.

The role emphasizes drafting, negotiation and regulatory compliance while contributing to client development and business growth.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor or experienced Residential Conveyancer.
• 10+ years' PQE or equivalent experience preferred.
• Proven experience managing a residential conveyancing caseload independently.
• Strong experience with complex and high-value transactions.
• Excellent client care, communication and organisational skills.
• Strong technical, drafting and negotiation abilities.
• Experience mentoring or supervising junior staff desirable.
• Commercially aware with an interest in business development.

Responsibilities

• Manage a full residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to completion.
• Handle complex and high-value transactions with minimal supervision.
• Draft and negotiate legal documentation.
• Deal with land registration and post-completion requirements.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, estate agents, lenders and third parties.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to junior staff.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory and professional requirements.
