Job summary

VennGroup is seeking a Residential Property Solicitor / Conveyancer in the South West. This permanent role involves managing a full residential conveyancing caseload from instruction to completion, including freehold and leasehold transactions, high-value cases and complex matters.

You will draft and negotiate legal documentation, liaise with clients, estate agents and lenders, and mentor junior staff while contributing to business development and client development efforts.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor or experienced Residential Conveyancer.
• 10+ years' PQE or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience managing a residential conveyancing caseload independently.
• Strong experience with complex and high-value transactions.
• Excellent client care, communication and organisational skills.
• Strong technical, drafting and negotiation abilities.
• Experience mentoring or supervising junior staff desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage a full residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to completion.
• Handle complex and high-value transactions with minimal supervision.
• Draft and negotiate legal documentation.
• Deal with land registration and post-completion requirements.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, estate agents, lenders and third parties.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to junior staff.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory and professional requirements.
