Shaw healthcare is recruiting a Residential Deputy Manager for Wood House in Bristol. You will deliver high-quality care and support to adults with learning disabilities and complex needs, leading a team to meet physical, social, psychological and emotional needs.

Wood House requires a hands-on manager with strong person-centred care principles, excellent communication, and a full UK driving license. The role involves overseeing care plans, staff development, and ensuring CQC compliance at 36

Qualifications

• QCF Level 3 or above.
• Previous experience as a Deputy Manager.
• Minimum of 3 years of management experience within a social care setting.
• Strong knowledge of person-centred care.
• Full UK driving license.
• Ability to engage with residents, families and colleagues effectively.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement evidence-based, individualised care plans and activities.
• Lead and supervise care teams to deliver high standards of person-centred care.
• Manage sickness, staff training and development; coach and mentor team members.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families and colleagues.
• Ensure safety and compliance with health and social care standards.
• Support delivery of care that respects residents' dignity and wellbeing.
