Clear Legal & Financial Recruitment is seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancing Associate or Senior Associate for our Cheltenham, Gloucestershire office. The role focuses on managing a busy caseload with autonomy while developing client relationships and contributing to team growth.

The candidate will handle sales, purchases, freehold/leasehold transactions, remortgages, shared ownership, and lease extensions, delivering practical, commercially aware advice.

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor, CILEX, or licensed conveyancer.
• 5+ years' PQE in residential conveyancing.
• Strong technical knowledge of residential property.
• Proven ability to independently manage a busy caseload.
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
• Established following or network.
• Ability to generate new business.
• Proactive, commercially minded and client-focused.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to completion.
• Handle residential sales and purchases.
• Deal with freehold and leasehold transactions.
• Manage remortgages and shared ownership matters.
• Handle lease extensions.
• Provide clear, practical and commercially focused legal advice.
• Build and maintain strong client and professional relationships.
• Develop existing relationships and generate new business.
• Contribute to the continued growth of the residential conveyancing team.
• Use case management systems and modern conveyancing technology effectively.
