Job summary

Gerrard White Consulting is a specialist residential property practice in East Sussex seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancer to manage a private-client caseload with a high level of service.

You will handle transactions from instruction to completion, liaising with clients, agents, lenders and solicitors, while maintaining meticulous attention to detail and clear communication throughout the process.

Qualifications

• Solid experience within residential conveyancing.
• Experience managing files from instruction through to completion and post-completion.
• Strong understanding of the residential conveyancing process.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Confident communication with clients and other professionals.
• Ability to manage deadlines and prioritise a busy caseload.
• A proactive and solutions-focused approach.
• Strong IT and case management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage your own caseload of residential property matters.
• Liaise with clients, estate agents, lenders, brokers and other solicitors.
• Ensure transactions progress efficiently and smoothly.
• Prepare and review contracts and title documentation.
• Raise and respond to property enquiries and order reviews.
• Manage SDLT submissions and post-completion requirements.
