Job summary

Chadwick Nott in Weston-super-Mare is seeking an experienced Senior Conveyancer to manage a busy residential conveyancing caseload and provide high-quality client service. The role offers hybrid working and progression within a growing property team.

You will handle freehold/leasehold transactions, equity transfers, remortgages and probate matters, working with the Head of Legal to drive efficiency and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years’ residential conveyancing experience.
• Experience managing your own caseload independently.
• Strong knowledge of freehold and leasehold transactions.
• Excellent communication and client care skills.
• Practical, team-focused approach.
• Experience in a volume conveyancing environment.
• Comfortable using modern technology and case management systems.
• CLC, CILEX, Solicitor qualification or equivalent residential conveyancing experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage a residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to post-completion.
• Handle freehold and leasehold sales and purchases.
• Oversee transfers of equity, remortgages and probate transactions.
• Liaise with clients, agents, lenders and third parties.
• Maintain high standards of client service and file management.
• Work closely with the Head of Legal as senior team member.
• Assist with post-completion matters.
