Job summary

CareTech in Dumfries is seeking a Team Leader to support young people in daily routines, school preparation, and activities. You will help create a warm, homely environment and build meaningful relationships while providing emotional support and maintaining care records.

The role welcomes applicants with diverse backgrounds and emphasizes training and development. This is a full-time position based in Cushathill Dumfries, offering a clear progression path, annual leave, and a supportive team

• Support young people with daily routines and getting them ready for school.
• Assist with light housekeeping to create a warm, homely environment.
• Build strong relationships and provide emotional support.
• Plan and join activities like trips to the park, movie nights and creative projects.
• Keep essential records to ensure the best possible care.

Role: Team Leader

Location: Dumfries

Pay: £28,645 - £29,464 plus £67.50 per sleep-in, expect 10 sleeps per month giving an additional £8000+ over the year - OTE £37,464.

Where You'll Do It

Cushathill is a beautiful, warm home nestled on the outskirts of Dumfries and Galloway. We are registered to support 4 young people. We have refurbished our home in order to provide the best facilities to support our young people, including new kitchen and open plan dining. We support children who have experienced trauma, have learning disabilities or display challenging behaviours.
