What will I be doing?

As our Senior Research Manager, you’ll work on brand and reputation projects with leading companies across various industries. You should have a passion for understanding brands and brand strategy, with a deep understanding of how effective research can enhance client decision-making. You’ll collaborate with clients throughout all research stages, from briefing and proposal development to presenting results.

What do I need to bring?

You should demonstrate the core skills required for this role. You don’t need to meet every criterion immediately; a willingness to learn is key. The team will be looking for:

  • Experience in quantitative market research, especially in brand tracking and strategic brand surveys. Knowledge of segmentation creation research is a plus.
  • Strong client management and consultative skills, ensuring brand tracking aligns with client goals and strategies.
  • Proven project management experience in multi-country brand studies, including survey design, fieldwork oversight, quotas, weighting, analysis, reporting, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Ability to design and optimize brand health frameworks, KPIs (awareness, consideration, usage, loyalty), and strategy surveys measuring brand equity and positioning.
  • Attitude: think big, ask why, and show respect—values that are integral to our culture.
Interview steps
  1. Preliminary phone call with the Talent Team (no video required)
  2. First video interview with hiring managers
  3. Second (final) video interview with the hiring panel, often including a presentation, followed by a values conversation with the wider GWI community.
