Job summary

A leading research organization in Cambridge is looking for a Senior Research Associate to join their Climate Compatible Growth programme. This role focuses on researching critical mineral supply chains to support sustainable energy transitions in developing countries. The ideal candidate will have a PhD in Engineering and significant post-doctoral research experience, along with skills in environmental assessment and programming. The position is fixed-term until March 2025 with a salary range of £45,585 – £57,696.

Qualifications

• PhD in Engineering or a similar relevant field.
• Significant post-doctoral experience or equivalent.
• Knowledge of supply chains and production processes.

Responsibilities

• Research critical material production and supply chains.
• Model supply chain changes techno-economically.
• Collaborate with institutions in selected CCG partner countries.
