Job summary

Leonardo UK in Edinburgh is seeking a Senior/Principal Systems Engineer to define and maintain EO system requirements across the engineering lifecycle. You will translate stakeholder needs into robust, traceable requirements enabling design, integration, verification and validation.

Ideal candidates will have deep experience in requirements engineering within complex environments, strong communication skills, and a proactive, collaborative approach to delivering outcomes across multidisciplinary

Qualifications

• Experience in requirements management within a complex engineering environment.
• Ability to analyse stakeholder requirements and ensure traceability to programme objectives.
• Experience developing system and subsystem requirements and managing their lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Analyse and manage stakeholder requirements, ensuring they are clearly understood and aligned to objectives.
• Develop and maintain EO system and subsystem requirements throughout the lifecycle.
• Use DOORS to maintain baselines, traceability and change control.
• Support development of functional architectures and allocation of requirements to system elements.
• Support interface definition and management activities with clear traceability.
• Contribute to V&V planning with clear, testable requirements.
• Develop non-functional requirements including safety, security, manufacturability and supportability.
