Job summary

Leonardo UK Ltd. in Edinburgh is recruiting for Project Engineering Leads to oversee system-level issues from testing through flight trials, and to drive investigations and redesigns within project priorities.

You will deliver realistic plans, ensure lifecycle processes are followed, and collaborate with Engineering Management to secure resources and forward load for critical programs.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of the engineering lifecycle and ability to navigate multiple disciplines.
• Ability to understand and break down complex problems quickly.
• Experience with a system change management process and lifecycle processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage and assess reported system-level issues from lab testing, integration and flight trials.
• Lead investigations and redesign activities per project priorities.
• Create realistic plans and communicate load and resources to management.
• Ensure lifecycle and project engineering processes are followed.
• Collaborate with Engineering Management and Chief Engineers for decisions.
• Maintain strong communication across project and engineering teams.
• Lead and motivate a multi-discipline engineering team.
• Ensure the team is equipped to deliver on commitments.
