WPP Enterprise Solutions in London is seeking a Senior Project Manager and Release Manager for a contract role within our Delivery Team. You will lead technical teams, govern releases, and collaborate with stakeholders across complex client environments.

You will drive CI/CD practices, align with Agile or Waterfall methodologies, and mentor junior PMs while ensuring high quality outcomes and client satisfaction.

Qualifikationen

• Project Management experience, and ecommerce experience ideally within a retail environment.
• Ability to read log files, draw conclusions and direct further technical investigation
• Working with eCommerce frameworks and hosting solutions
• Understanding of cloud/on prem infrastructure
• Familiarity with Azure and AWS DevOps Tooling
• Defining, managing and delivering to customer expectations within strict deadlines
• Full knowledge of the project lifecycle and experience with Agile, Incremental and Waterfall
• Comfortable with complex technical environments and legacy systems integration
• Managing 3rd parties
• Strong time management and organisational skills
• Excellent negotiation skills and diplomacy
• Relevant Project Management qualifications
• Proficient with MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

Aufgaben

• Release and technical reporting regarding project/account technical deliverables, architecture and release pipeline
• Identify technical risks and issues and provide mitigation options
• Communicate with stakeholders and chair technical meetings as required
• Manage and coordinate internal technical specialists
• Lead and inspire the team to achieve objectives
• Ensure the technical teams complete their responsibilities and suggest improvements
• Provide support to Junior Technical Project Managers with feedback
• Define, plan, organise and manage build of new infrastructure environments
• Coordinate high quality technical solutions on time
• Keep up to date with emerging industry practices
• Run complex projects using Agile or Waterfall methodologies
• Oversee releases across pre-production and production environments
• Implement technical governance according to client needs
• Build customer confidence by understanding needs and delivering solutions
• Set and manage client expectations and maintain a positive image
• Manage 3rd party product vendors and client resources
