Job summary

Tokio Marine HCC International is seeking a Senior Reinsurance Technician to act as a key business partner on the Underwriting Line of Business. You will ensure contracts are captured accurately in outward systems and broker collections are notified promptly, while collaborating with the credit control team and finance outputs.

• Experience and understanding of Insurance/Reinsurance markets from Lloyd’s, company or broker perspective.

Responsibilities

• Understand and create reinsurance contracts in outwards systems.
• Initiate settlement of reinsurance premium to broker and carrier with credit control team.
• Identify and calculate reinsurance recoveries with reconciliations to Finance outputs.
• Submit accurate statements, advices and collection notes to brokers and reinsurers.
• Resolve queries and support front office, working with shared services operations.
• Identify improvements to processes and services.
• Engage with stakeholders to provide updates and share knowledge.
