Job summary

Employment Specialists Ltd is seeking a Senior Treaty Technician to support a portfolio of complex Treaty reinsurance business in the London market. This senior role combines specialist processing expertise with mentoring and exceptional client service.

You will work closely with Brokers, Clients and Reinsurers to ensure technical accuracy and timely processing across the treaty lifecycle while guiding less experienced colleagues and contributing to team development.

Qualifications

• Experience handling complex Treaty reinsurance business.
• Excellent technical knowledge of London Market systems IMR, CLASS, ECF and LORS.
• Strong Excel skills for data analysis and portfolio maintenance.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with colleagues, clients, reinsurers and market partners.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end technical processing activities across proportional and excess of loss business.
• Support Treaty accounts across complex reinsurance programmes.
• Process premiums, pro-rata settlements and claims transactions accurately.
• Prepare and issue client and market documentation.
• Liaise with Brokers, Clients and Reinsurers on technical processing matters.
• Maintain account statistics and support portfolio reporting activities.
• Provide guidance and support to less experienced colleagues, acting as a technical referral point.

Our Reinsurance Broking client is seeking an experienced Senior Reinsurance Technician to support a portfolio of complex Treaty Reinsurance business.

This is a Senior Technical position that combines specialist processing expertise with mentorship and exceptional client service.

Working closely with Brokers, Clients and Reinsurers, you will process a complex portfolio of Treaty business while ensuring a high standard of service and technical accuracy throughout the transaction lifecycle.

Also as a key referral point for less experienced colleagues, you will work alongside other Senior Technicians to support the development of the wider team while ensuring the delivery of a first-class service to clients and trading partners.

Key Responsibilities of the Senior Treaty Technician role includes:

• The ability to resolve complex or unusual technical issues and implement practical solutions
• Strong Excel skills, able to analyse and maintain account and portfolio data
• Ability to build and maintain excellent business relationships with colleagues, clients, reinsurers and other market partners
