Job summary

JSS are supporting an operations team of a global insurer where they are looking for a Senior Reinsurance Technician to join due to the continued growth across global entities.

The role will require reviewing and approving reinsurance contracts, managing and processing recoveries, and ensuring accurate settlement details for brokers. Strong Excel skills and experience with SICS, XL PRO, and Clearwater Cenata are essential, with exposure to the Lloyd's market considered desirable.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in reinsurance operations across treaty and facultative programs.
• Proficient with reinsurance systems (SICS, XL PRO, Clearwater Cenata).
• Strong Excel skills and ability to work with complex data.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve reinsurance contracts.
• Manage and process recoveries across treaty and facultative programs.
• Review premium and claim calculations, including accounting classifications.
• Manage aged debt and collection and payment of recoveries.
• Produce settlement details to brokers accurately and on time.
• Liaise with claims and support queries as needed.
• Support close processes and deliver reports to stakeholders.
• Assist with internal, external and reinsurance audits.
• Prepare reinsurance packs for finance and operations meetings.
