Job summary

Cornwall Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a committed Hospital Sister to provide clinical, operational and professional leadership across nursing, HCA and housekeeping teams within a 24-bedded rehabilitation unit.

Qualifications

• NMC/HCPC registration is essential.
• Diploma or Degree with post-registration skills or equivalent experience.
• Postgraduate modules or advanced training in rehabilitation-related areas.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical, operational and professional leadership to nursing, HCA and housekeeping teams.
• Lead safe, person-centred, evidence-based nurse-led care and rehabilitation within the unit.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary involvement to develop and implement rehab plans.
• Support patient flow from admission to discharge and manage staffing levels and rostering.
• Promote high clinical standards and participate in audits and service development.
