Job Description:

We are working with a Multi-Asset Brokerage business based in the City of London, seeking a Senior Regulatory Reporting Analyst to join a newly formed team.

The role reports to the Head of Operations. The Senior Regulatory Reporting Analyst will assist the firm in meeting its Regulatory Reporting obligations, mainly regarding EMIR and MiFIR. Responsibilities include ensuring the completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of reporting, overseeing operational processes like exception management and reconciliations, defining remediation and back-reporting requirements, and coordinating testing and verification of remediation activities.

The main responsibilities are:

1. Identify regulatory requirements and interpret them in the context of the firm's activities.
2. Review regulatory announcements and implement necessary system and process changes.
3. Oversee operational processes including exception monitoring and reconciliations.
4. Ensure timely and complete reporting.
5. Investigate routine exceptions and escalate non-routine issues.
6. Respond to ad hoc reporting queries and requests.
7. Record breaches and determine actions such as escalation and remediation.
8. Maintain static/reference data and perform periodic reconciliations.
9. Notify about upcoming business changes, new products, markets, or brokers.
10. Test the impact of new business activities and changes.
11. Define, coordinate, and verify remediation and back-reporting activities.
12. Document business scenarios and maintain operational policies and procedures.
13. Conduct User Acceptance Tests (UAT) to verify systems and processes.
