Care UK is seeking a Regulatory Assurance Manager to lead regulatory and quality assurance across the North & Scotland region. You will monitor homes, identify risks, and drive improvements in compliance and safeguarding.

In this senior role, you will coach operational teams, undertake regulatory assessments, and stay abreast of regulatory developments to support business objectives and excellent resident care.

Qualifications

• Detailed knowledge and application of relevant legislation and regulatory framework.
• Experience in a senior regulatory or quality role.
• Knowledge of the care sector, especially care home services.
• Strong understanding of quality improvement and governance.

Responsabilités

• To monitor and analyse information from homes to understand and mitigate emerging risk.
• To undertake regulatory assessments in line with regulators.
• To support Care UK and operational teams with understanding of relevant regulations.
• To provide coaching to operational teams.
• To work with homes to achieve high standards of inspections and safeguarding.
• To undertake safeguarding and serious case review investigations as required by Head of Regulatory Governance.
• To stay updated on health and social care regulation developments.
• To lead on compliance and quality improvement activities to meet business objectives.
• To coach and train care home colleagues and wider Care UK teams.

We are seeking an enthusiastic Regulatory Assurance Manager to join our vibrant and dedicated team.

The role:

Effectively manage a portfolio of homes to provide an up-to-date view of quality and identify risks to Care UK.

Key Responsibilities:

• To monitor and analyse information and data from the home to understand and mitigate emerging risk, escalating concerns as appropriate.
• To undertake regulatory assessments in line with regulators
• To support Care UK and operational colleagues with understanding of relevant legislation and regulations
• To provide coaching to operational teams
• To work with homes to achieve high standards of assessments, external inspections or complex safeguarding.
• To undertake safeguarding and serious case review investigations as required by Head of Regulatory Governance.
• To keep updated regarding developments in the Health and Social Care sector regarding regulation and compliance.
• To lead on compliance and quality improvement activities required to ensure business objectives are met.
• To conduct coaching and training to care home colleagues and wider Care UKas required.
