Essar Energy Transition (EET) is seeking an experienced Senior Regulatory Planner to lead planning and consent activities across a multi‑billion-pound portfolio of energy, infrastructure and industrial projects at Stanlow, Ellesmere Port.
You will manage TCPA and DCO requirements, oversee planning consultants and budgets, and build strong relationships with regulators and local authorities, ensuring compliance with planning policy and EIA standards.

As Senior Regulatory Planner, you will support and deputise for the Regulatory Planning Manager, leading planning and consent activities across a multi-billion-pound portfolio of energy, infrastructure and industrial development projects.
You will manage complex planning applications, including TCPA and DCO projects, ensuring timely approvals, regulatory compliance and successful project delivery. Working closely with project teams, consultants, regulators and community stakeholders, you will play a key role in delivering Essar's strategic growth ambitions.
You are an experienced planning professional with a strong track record of delivering planning consents for complex infrastructure, energy, industrial or brownfield developments. You combine technical planning expertise with excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to lead multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment.
