Job summary

MERJE is partnering with a fast-growing specialist consultancy to recruit a Consultant or Senior Consultant into its expanding Regulatory & Conduct Risk practice. This role offers exposure to a broad range of clients, regulatory challenges and transformation programmes across the UK financial services market.

You will lead advisory engagements, interact with senior client stakeholders, and help drive growth while building deep expertise across FCA regulation, conduct risk and governance matters.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of the FCA regulatory and supervisory landscape.
• Experience in regulatory compliance, conduct risk, governance or advisory work.
• Ability to translate complex regulatory issues into pragmatic commercial solutions.
• Excellent written communication and report-writing skills.
• Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders and presenting recommendations.
• Strong project management, organisation and analytical capability.

Responsibilities

• Lead regulatory and conduct risk advisory engagements for clients.
• Develop tailored solutions to regulatory challenges.
• Undertake regulatory reviews, gap analysis, risk assessments and case reviews.
• Produce high-quality reports, presentations and project plans.
• Provide SME across FCA regulation, conduct risk and governance.
• Manage client relationships and act as trusted adviser to stakeholders.
• Lead and support consultants across engagements.
• Contribute to proposals, pitches and new business opportunities.
• Support thought leadership, industry events and roundtables.
• Contribute to growth and development of the consultancy.
