Circle Health Group's The Meriden Hospital in Coventry is hiring a Senior Registered Nurse – Pre Assessment on a 22.5-hour part-time contract, with the potential to increase to full-time as the department grows. The role requires active NMC registration and substantial post-registration acute care experience.

You will lead on assessment, planning and evaluation of care for complex patients, administer medications safely, mentor junior staff, and work within a multidisciplinary team to ensure

• Significant post-registration experience in an acute or relevant clinical setting.
• Proven ability to lead, mentor, and support a nursing team.
• Strong clinical decision-making, problem-solving, and time management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate and patient-focused approach.
• Confidence in working independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
• Previous experience in a senior or supervisory nursing role desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care and lead on assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care for complex patients.
• Use advanced clinical knowledge to make timely decisions, escalating where necessary.
• Administer medication safely and monitor patient response, ensuring adherence to NMC and local protocols.
• Delegate tasks appropriately, ensuring safe and effective workload management across the shift.
• Uphold a culture of safety by ensuring compliance with infection prevention, safeguarding, medicines management, and risk reporting procedures.
• Act as a key contact for patients and their families, offering clinical updates, reassurance, and information to support shared decision-making.
• Liaise effectively with the multidisciplinary team to coordinate care and ensure smooth transitions between services.

Circle Health Group has an exciting opportunity for aSenior Registered Nurseto join our friendly and motivated team of staff working in the Pre Assessment department.

This is apart-timerole at 22.5 hours a week with the opportunity to increase to full-time hours in the future . The role holder will be required tocover a flexible shift pattern.

Duties of this role include:
