Job summary

Circle Health Group in Windsor is inviting applications for a Senior Registered Nurse to join the nursing department on a 30-hour per week contract. The role involves delivering high-quality nursing care, using advanced clinical knowledge, and leading a team in a busy acute setting.

The successful candidate will be an Adult Nurse with active NMC registration, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to work independently within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (Adult) with active NMC registration.
• Significant post-registration experience in an acute or relevant clinical setting.
• Proven ability to lead, mentor, and support a nursing team.
• Strong clinical decision-making, problem-solving, and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care and lead on assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care for complex patients.
• Use advanced clinical knowledge to make timely and appropriate decisions, escalating where necessary.
• Administer medication safely and monitor patient response, ensuring adherence to NMC and local protocols.
• Delegate tasks appropriately, ensuring safe and effective workload management across the shift.
• Uphold a culture of safety by ensuring compliance with infection prevention, safeguarding, medicines management, and risk reporting procedures.
• Act as a key contact for patients and families, offering clinical updates, reassurance, and information to support shared decision-making.
• Liaise with the multidisciplinary team to coordinate care and ensure smooth transitions between services.
