Job summary

Job description

As a Senior Registered Nurse, you will lead shifts and coordinate care, using your clinical judgement and autonomy to respond to patients changing needs.

You will provide skilled, compassionate nursing care, support patients and those closest to them, and work closely with our multidisciplinary team.

You will also support the development of Registered Nurses, Healthcare Assistants and students through supervision, one-to-ones and mentoring, giving you valuable leadership experience while remaining closely involved in clinical care.

Join our Inpatient Unit as a Senior Registered Nurse, where our low nurse-to-patient ratio gives you the time to provide the quality of care patients and families truly deserve.

You will combine hands‑on specialist palliative and end‑of‑life care with the opportunity to develop your clinical leadership skills in a supportive and experienced team.

Previous hospice experience is not essential. We will support you with specialist training and ongoing professional development.

Prospect Hospice is an independent hospice supporting a community of 300,000 people in Swindon, Marlborough and North Wiltshire, and the villages of Lechlade and Fairford in Gloucestershire.
