Job summary

CBRE Investment Management is expanding its London-based regional investment team with a Senior Analyst. The role focuses on UK investments while offering broad exposure to real estate funds and platform investments across Europe.

Key duties include supporting due diligence, underwriting investments, and preparing papers for committees, as well as ongoing monitoring, forecasting, and ESG-related engagement with operating companies and fund managers.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Finance, Investments, Economics or related field.
• At least two years of relevant experience in corporate finance, real estate investment management, private equity or Transaction Services at a Big Four firm.
• Advanced financial modelling skills.
• Strong analytical skills and a well-developed critical attitude.
• Independent, proactive and detail-oriented; able to work in a team.
• Excellent written and verbal English; second European language is a plus.
• Comfortable with using AI tools to work faster and smarter.

Responsibilities

• Investment analysis and underwriting: support due diligence, including asset visits, market research and rent/yield comparables; underwrite investments and review financial models; prepare investment papers for investment committees.
• Investment monitoring: attend meetings with operating companies and fund managers; review reports from invested holdings; prepare forecasts and research notes; collect and check holdings data; engage with management to advance ESG ambitions; support client reporting and responses.
