Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is seeking a Refrigeration Engineer to join the team in the UK. You will work with the regional technical supervisor to maintain and service site equipment, supporting preventive maintenance and repairs as part of the Engineering and Technical team.

The role requires 4–5 years of related experience, a Safe Handling certificate 2079 CAT-1, and physical fitness for field work. You will collaborating with peers to deliver reliable facilities management services.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of related experience.
• Safe Handling certificate 2079 CAT-1.
• Meet the physical requirements including lifting 50 lbs and climbing.
• Ability to exercise judgment based on multiple information sources.
• 5 years qualification experience in the industry at Engineer or above.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and restore routine technical service and equipment.
• Address major network problems impacting multiple locations; verify documentation.
• Maintain documentation of routine maintenance schedules and configurations.
• Participate in user acceptance training and create training documentation.
• Apply in-depth knowledge to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.
• Coach others and share knowledge across related disciplines.
• Lead by example and promote CBRE RISE values to reach consensus.
• Impact a range of customer, operational, project or service activities within teams.
• Work within broad guidelines and policies.
