SK Heating and Cooling Ltd, based in Gloucester, is hiring a technical leader to guide engineers in refrigeration and air conditioning systems. The role emphasizes high engineering standards, mentoring, and cross-team collaboration.

The ideal candidate has City & Guilds AC/refrigeration levels 1–3, F-Gas Cat 1, and roughly a decade of refrigeration/AC experience, with a pro-active approach to improvement and professional development.

Competenze

• City & Guilds qualifications in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (Levels 1–3) or an equivalent NVQ.
• F-Gas and ODS Category 1 qualification or equivalent in refrigeration/air conditioning installation and maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of commercial/heavy refrigeration systems and leak detection.

Mansioni

• Lead by example, maintaining high engineering standards and integrity.
• Provide technical guidance to engineers and reduce call-backs.
• Coach and develop engineers, coordinating with leadership for capability improvements.
• Organise fortnightly engineering meetings to share best practices and updates.
• Support KPIs and achieve high chargeable utilization.
• Keep up with industry standards and introduce improvements.
• Coordinate planning, actions, and deadlines with the leadership team.
• Record technical queries and use learnings to strengthen team knowledge.
