The Yorkshire Tech team is our longest-standing market, focusing on staffing high-profile clients in Leeds and Yorkshire on an exclusive basis. This team comprises highly experienced recruiters, supported by our Delivery function and Consultancy Enablement, enabling you to accelerate your billings and become a true market leader.

The role

Reporting directly to a Managing Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in sourcing candidates for our clients and developing new client relationships. You will develop your network within your specialist vertical market, stay updated on current trends, and think creatively for sourcing strategies, utilizing all internal technology to maximize efficiency.

There is excellent opportunity to develop your mentoring and leadership skills as you support junior colleagues and deliver training sessions. You will work alongside internal Account Managers to ensure a smooth recruitment process from start to finish for your roles.

Key Responsibilities

• Development of accounts into key accounts
• Searching for suitable IT candidates matching client requirements
• Headhunting and networking on platforms such as LinkedIn, GitHub, Stack Overflow
• Writing and posting job adverts
• Telephone interviewing candidates to assess suitability
• Arranging interviews and liaising with candidates
• Making job offers and handling rejections
• Taking references and collating supporting documents
• Building relationships with candidates to create a strong talent pipeline
• Using social media to build a personal brand
• Keeping up with industry trends
• Building relationships with clients
• Utilizing internal tools like SourceWhale, LinkedHelper, and Paiger
• Ensuring accurate data recording on CRM
• Attending client meetings to explore opportunities
• Negotiating fees and engagement terms
