Job summary

Arrows Group is seeking a Senior Recruitment Consultant to own and scale our Data, AI & ML contract desk across the UK or Benelux. You’ll move quickly, build an elite pool of freelancers, and deliver urgent shortlists with speed.

You’ll navigate IR35/compliance, payroll basics, and margin management while creating long-term partnerships and a world-class candidate experience from onboarding to extension. This is a contract/interim role with an energetic, high-performance culture.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience in a fast-paced Contract, Temporary, or Interim recruitment role (Tech/Data background is a massive plus).
• Proven track record of building and maintaining a profitable contract book.
• You thrive on urgency, high-frequency activity, and the "thrill of the fill."
• Ability to break into new accounts and convert "urgent needs" into long-term partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Lead a high-velocity Data/AI/ML contract desk, managing the full lifecycle from lead gen to deployment.
• Cultivate a deep network of immediately available freelance specialists (Data Scientists, ML Engineers, AI Researchers).
• Respond to urgent client requirements with high-quality shortlists in hours, not weeks.
• Sell and deliver agile recruitment models, including Statement of Work (SOW) and high-volume interim squads.
• Manage your own book of contractors, ensuring a world-class experience from onboarding to extension.
• Act as a consultant to clients on IR35/compliance, day rates, and the evolving freelance landscape.

You’ll be responsible for deploying elite contractors across either the UK or the Benelux/Dutch markets, helping our clients scale at pace.
