Job summary

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a College or University in Social Services or similar.
• 1-2 years’ experience working in recreation.
• 1-2 years exposure to individuals with a developmental disability.
• Leadership skills/experience preferred.
• Excellent organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
• Demonstrated leadership including supervising staff.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities successfully.
• Represents Reena in professional and respectful manner.

Responsibilities

• Attend and lead all evening, weekend and camp programs.
• Delegates daily tasks and assigns caseloads for the day.
• Guides orientation for Recreational Staff.
• Provides directions to staff based on experience.
• Oversees staff performance and provides feedback.
• Ensures incidents are reported with proper documentation.
