Job summary

Turning Point is seeking an Advanced Recovery Practitioner to lead work with the most complex clients in the opiate and complex needs team. You will mentor Recovery Workers, chair MDTs, and represent the service in multi-agency settings with a strong harm reduction remit including NSP and BBV work.

The role emphasises high-quality report writing, line management support, and delivery of training on harm reduction topics. Significant health and social care experience is essential.

Qualifications

• Significant health and social care experience in substance use services or related fields.
• Demonstrated ability to document case notes and maintain high-quality reports.
• Ability to assess risk and manage complex caseloads within a multi-disciplinary setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one support to Recovery Workers on practice development and day-to-day challenges.
• Hold a defined caseload of the most complex cases and guide treatment plans.
• Chair MDT and multi-agency meetings when deputising for the Team Leader.
• Deliver internal training on harm reduction topics and supervise staff.
