Job summary

CCA Recruitment Group is recruiting an experienced Recoveries Manager to lead the Debt Legal team in Sale, Manchester, with travel to other sites. The role combines hands-on litigation expertise with line management to drive successful debt recovery outcomes.

You will work with senior stakeholders and external solicitors, oversee end-to-end litigation, and coach a high-performing team to minimise risk and maximise returns. Excellent leadership required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience managing litigation within debt recovery or collections.
• Strong knowledge of debt recovery litigation processes and courtroom protocols.
• Experience managing cases through full litigation cycle from initiation to judgment.
• Experience in a collection environment with large customer bases or commercial accounts.
• Knowledge of England and Scotland litigation processes and enforcement.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a high-performing Litigation Team with accountability and continuous improvement.
• Oversee end-to-end litigation process and decide on legal action and enforcement strategies.
• Collaborate with external solicitors to manage cases to resolution, including witness statements and court hearings.
• Represent the company at trials and final hearings in England and Scotland to recover overdue debts.
• Provide guidance on litigation strategy, risk and commercial outcomes to senior management.
• Drive process improvements to enhance performance and recovery outcomes.
• Maintain strong relationships across the business with clear case progress updates.
