Job summary

STARK Building Materials UK seeks a Senior Management Accountant to support the UK Finance team. You will analyse customer rebate data, manage settlements and provide insight to drive commercial decisions across a £2bn business.

You will work with Finance, Operations and Commercial teams to ensure rebates are well controlled and add value. The role involves line managing a rebate analyst, delivering timely settlements, and contributing to process improvements and audits.

Qualifications

• Experience in Finance Analyst, Management Accountant, or similar role.
• Ability to manage, develop and motivate a small team.
• Studying towards or qualified in ACCA, CIMA, ACA.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accuracy of customer rebate accruals and settlements with robust controls.
• Produce regular reporting on accruals and detailed balance sheet reconciliations.
• Line management of a customer rebate analyst.
• Calculate detailed customer rebate settlements from large data sets.
• Collaborate with operations and cash teams to process settlements.
