Job summary

Unity is seeking a senior software engineer to extend the Real Time 3D runtime to embedded platforms such as Embedded Linux, QNX and Android Automotive OS. You will develop new features, integrate vector graphics, and optimize the runtime for multi-screen digital cockpits.

You will work with cross-functional teams and customers to deliver automotive HMI solutions, ensuring performance and reliability on constrained hardware.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in C/C++/C#/multithreaded codebases.
• Experience with Embedded Linux, QNX or Android Automotive OS.
• Graphics and performance optimization on constrained hardware.

Responsibilities

• Bring Unity RTD to embedded platforms (Linux/QNX/AAOS).
• Build graphics/windowing layer for multi-screen HMIs.
• Profile and optimize runtime, memory and startup on embedded SoCs.
• Partner with automotive customers as technical contact and issue resolver.
• Drive engineering standards through code reviews and automation.
