Job summary

Zeta Global is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in London to lead the architecture and development of the real-time components of the Zeta Marketing Platform. You will mentor engineers, design scalable data processing systems, and collaborate with product, DevOps, and executives to drive the roadmap forward.

The role is hybrid, based in London, with a focus on low-latency data access across digital touchpoints.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of software engineering experience.
• 2+ years experience in Scala/Java.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with container-based solutions.
• Experience with ZIO, Akka, Play Framework.
• Experience with AWS at scale.
• Experience with Terraform.
• Proven distributed data processing at scale.
• Expertise in designing distributed low latency and scalable solutions in cloud.
• Exposure to the full software development lifecycle from inception to production and monitoring.
• Experience in advertising attribution domain is a plus.
• Experience in agile software development processes.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Build, refine, tune, and maintain our real-time infrastructure.
• Design, develop and maintain services for data collection and real-time processing.
• Collaborate with Product Managers to design and build data products.
• Work with DevOps to scale and optimize infrastructure.
• Participate in architecture discussions and road map ownership.
• Participate in on-call rotation (be available by phone or email in case something goes wrong)
