Job summary

Lipson Lloyd Jones seeks a senior England & Wales qualified commercial real estate lawyer to lead knowledge management within the firm. You will combine real estate expertise with strategic thinking to drive AI adoption, training, and governance across the practice while guiding complex issues for clients.

Working in a hybrid model, you will create and maintain knowledge resources, promote sharing of expertise, and train trainees as part of the firm’s development programme, aligning with the KDL

Qualifications

• A lawyer with first-class knowledge of English Commercial Real Estate law, with a minimum of 8pqe advising clients and a strong understanding of both legal practice and the client perspective.
• You will have enthusiasm for knowledge sharing and continuous learning, together with curiosity about legal technology and the confidence to identify, assess and promote practical new ways of working.
• An understanding of the opportunities and risks associated with automation and artificial intelligence, including accuracy, confidentiality, governance and professional obligations, would be advantageous.
• Highly organised, motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently, drive initiatives and embrace process improvement and change.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence presenting to and training groups of lawyers.
• The firm offers a hybrid working model that supports flexible working arrangements; however, periodic attendance at the office will be required, with frequency determined by the needs and nature of the role.

Responsibilities

• Undertake knowledge management functions to strengthen the team's technical excellence and knowledge culture.
• Champion AI adoption, deliver training, provide guidance on complex legal issues, and keep the team informed of important legal and market developments.
• Create and maintain valuable knowledge resources, promote the sharing of expertise, and promote ways of working that enhance client service.
• Assist with firm-wide training of trainees as part of the trainee programme.
• Collaborate with the KDL team and other KDLs to ensure information sharing and consistency of knowledge across the firm.
