Job summary

Randburg Real Estate Advisors is seeking a Senior Real Estate Analyst to support investment decisions, market research, and financial modeling for commercial properties across Gauteng. You will analyze market trends, valuations, and opportunities to provide strategic recommendations to senior management and clients.

The role requires a strong quantitative background, CFA/CAIA is desirable, and the ability to deliver clear, concise reports.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of real estate analysis or related field (investment banking/financial consulting).
• Strong financial modeling skills with Excel and related tools.
• Solid understanding of real estate valuation methods, market dynamics and investment principles.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with ability to present complex information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed financial analysis including DCF, ROI, and sensitivity analysis for commercial real estate investments.
• Conduct market research and feasibility studies for Gauteng sub-markets.
• Evaluate property valuations and advise on pricing and investment strategies.
• Prepare investment memorandums, presentations and reports for stakeholders.
• Monitor performance of portfolios and identify risks and opportunities.
• Analyze economic indicators and demographic trends affecting real estate markets.
• Collaborate with acquisition teams, brokers and lenders to support deal execution.
• Maintain and update financial models, databases and market intelligence.
• Assist in due diligence for acquisitions and dispositions.
• Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes in CRE.
