Job summary

Cleo is hiring a senior frontend engineer for its React Native/TypeScript stack to build features that enhance users’ financial health. You’ll join a cross-functional squad, ship weekly updates, and collaborate across frontend, design, data and backend teams.

Based in the UK or Europe, with hybrid/remote options in the UK and fully remote across the EU. 5+ years in React Native/React TypeScript are preferred; experience with mobile app development is highly valued.

Qualifications

• SE3/SE4 level with 5+ years React Native/TypeScript experience.
• Experience building features for mobile apps.
• Ability to work in distributed teams, hybrid/remote in UK & EU.]
• Proven focus on code quality and automated testing.

Responsibilities

• Join cross-functional squad to build features improving users' financial health.
• Develop React Native app experiences delivering Cleo's tone of voice.
• Write automated tests to ensure quality before shipping.
• Use AB-Tests and feature flags to iterate quickly.
• Analyze user journeys to optimize the Cleo experience.
• Participate in weekly app releases to iOS/Android stores.
• Contribute to frontend engineering initiatives across squads.
• Engage in product ideation, user research, design reviews and demos.
