Job summary

Cleo is hiring a Frontend React/React Native Engineer to join a mission-driven fintech team. You will focus on building features for our mobile app with a strong emphasis on UI/UX and user health.

You’ll work in a cross-functional squad, ship changes frequently, and contribute to design reviews and product demos. The role requires 2+ years of experience with React/TypeScript, a passion for mobile-first development, and a willingness to own parts of the frontend stack in a hybrid/remote setup

Qualifications

• 2+ years of industry experience using React Native / React with TypeScript for frontend
• Strong UI/UX sensibility and ability to translate designs into high quality code
• Experience working in cross-functional squads with product/design/QA
• Interest in mobile app features and delivering great user experiences

Responsibilities

• Develop features for the React Native mobile app to improve user experience
• Build and maintain frontend components with TypeScript in a React ecosystem
• Write automated tests to ensure code quality and robustness
• Participate in AB tests and feature flag implementations for rapid iteration
• Collaborate with designers, product, and backend engineers to ship features
• Contribute to shaping work with the squad and participate in reviews and demos
