Job summary

Hitachi Rail GTS UK Limited in the United Kingdom is seeking a Principal RAMS & System Assurance Manager to lead RAMS activities across the Mainline and Light Rail portfolio. This is a leadership role driving safety case development, RAMS analyses and assurance approvals for UK rail projects, products and services.

You will mentor RAMS professionals, shape RAMS strategies and collaborate with Hitachi partners, customers and project teams to deliver safe, reliable solutions throughout the project

Qualifications

• Significant experience in Technical Safety and Systems Assurance within rail or safety-critical industry.
• Proven experience managing technical teams and leading multidisciplinary stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead RAMS project/bid delivery and develop Safety Cases and RAMS analyses.
• Define RAMS strategies, resource requirements and delivery plans for bids.
• Engage with customers, industry partners and regulatory stakeholders.
