Qualifications

• Significant experience in Technical Safety and Systems Assurance within rail or safety‑critical industries.
• Proven experience managing technical teams and leading multidisciplinary stakeholders.
• Strong leadership, communication and analytical problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and maintenance of Safety Cases and RAMS Plans for projects and bids.
• Ensure compliance with legislation, customer requirements and industry standards.
• Provide coaching to RAMS professionals and drive capability development.
• Support RAMS strategy and delivery across Hitachi Rail UK.
• Support recruitment and succession planning within the function.
