Job summary

SYSTRA UK & Ireland is seeking a Senior Consultant to join a new rail-focused consultancy team. You will support business change, analyse complex requirements and develop process maps across client projects in a collaborative, client-facing capacity.

Based in Manchester with hybrid working, you will guide teams, maintain governance artefacts and contribute to business development while mentoring colleagues and delivering high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience in rail or comparable transport environments.
• Ability to elicit, analyse and document requirements clearly.
• Experience producing MoSCoW-prioritised requirements.
• Develop process maps for as-is and to-be state analyses.
• Strong stakeholder engagement across clients and delivery teams.
• Experience with governance materials and status reporting.
• Degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.

Responsibilities

• Support rail-related business change and transformation initiatives.
• Document requirements and translate into clear specifications.
• Develop process maps to support current and future state.
• Guide stakeholders to ensure alignment and timely decisions.
• Coordinate delivery across multiple workstreams and interfaces.
• Contribute to governance and assurance across projects.
• Develop client relationships and identify sales opportunities.
• Mentor less experienced colleagues.
