Job summary

SYSTRA in the United Kingdom seeks a Senior Consultant to join a new consultancy team focused on rail sector delivery, change management and programme support.

You will gather requirements, map processes, and coordinate multi-stakeholder delivery across projects, while contributing to governance, reporting and continuous improvement. The role requires rail or transport experience, strong communication, and the ability to mentor colleagues and develop practical delivery plans.

Qualifications

• Experience in rail or comparable transport environments.
• Experience in business analysis, change management, transformation or programme support.
• Experience supporting transformation initiatives within a complex organisation.
• Ability to elicit, analyse and document requirements and translate to recommendations.
• Experience creating requirements docs with MoSCoW prioritisation.
• Experience mapping 'as-is' and 'to-be' processes with narrative support.
• Experience supporting change activities including impact assessments and benefits tracking.
• Strong stakeholder engagement across clients, teams and partners.
• Ability to coordinate delivery across multiple workstreams in a complex environment.
• Experience producing governance materials and project documentation.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of rail-related change and improvement initiatives including client advisory programmes.
• Gather, analyse and document business, operational and stakeholder requirements and translate into clear specifications.
• Develop process maps to support requirements and future state assessments.
• Facilitate stakeholder engagement to support alignment and timely decisions.
• Support change activities including planning, implementation and benefits tracking.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and delivery approaches.
• Coordinate project activities, milestones, risks, actions and reporting.
• Contribute to governance and assurance activities with accurate information.
• Mentor junior colleagues in delivery of tasks.
• Maintain records of skills and experience within SYSTRA CVs.
