Job summary

c2c is seeking a Senior Service Delivery Manager to lead the Service Delivery Centre and Shoeburyness depot operations. You will ensure resourcing, information dissemination, and safe, compliant service across the c2c route. Reporting to Gail Moore, you’ll supervise Depot staff and drive performance improvements.

The role requires strong leadership, union liaison, and a thorough understanding of safety policies and operational rules, with a focus on maintaining schedules and service quality.

Qualifications

• Experience liaising with Local Union Representatives.
• Knowledge of train crew terms and service conditions.
• Understanding of Rules, Regulations and Appendix Instructions.
• Strong health and safety knowledge.
• GCSE/O level English and Maths.

Responsibilities

• Provide efficient response to service problems and incidents to maintain high service standards.
• Oversee Depot working arrangements and ensure compliance with schedules, instructions and safety standards.
• Communicate with internal and external bodies; maintain accurate records under pressure.
• Adhere to c2c Safety Manual, Rules and Codes of Conduct in all activities.
• Manage and resource all services across the c2c route.
• Supervise staff at the Service Delivery Centre and Shoeburyness depot during peak hours.
