Job summary

c2c Railway Limited is seeking a Senior Service Delivery Manager to oversee depot operations, safety, and rostering at Shoeburyness and surrounding depots. The role focuses on providing adequate resources, timely information to Train Crew, and ensuring movements are authorised and controlled.

You will lead a team of Depot Supervisors, Drivers, and Managers, supervise across multiple depots, and drive high service standards while maintaining compliance with c2c Rail Codes of Conduct.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience in operations teams.
• Strong knowledge of railway rules, safety policies and compliance.
• Experience in rostering, staff supervision and depot operations.
• Ability to liaise with unions and frontline staff.
• Good analytical skills for incident and service data review.

Responsibilities

• To respond efficiently to service problems and incidents to maintain service quality.
• Oversee depot operations, ensuring compliance with safety standards and schedules.
• Manage remote signing-on points and dissemination of information and publications.
• Maintain accurate records and work systematically under pressure.
• Ensure adherence to c2c Rail Codes of Conduct across all activities.
• Lead and resource services across the c2c route.
• Supervise staff at c2c depots and ensure senior presence in peak times.
• Record events affecting the route and ensure incident logging on each shift.
• Manage train services to protect schedule targets.
• Ensure competencies within SDC and Service & Resourcing are maintained.
