Job summary

Siemens Mobility is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of rail projects across Telecoms, Networks, SCADA and SISS for Mainline, Light Rail and Mass Transit systems. You will oversee end-to-end project activities including engineering, installation, testing and commissioning to meet contractual requirements, on time and within budget.

The role involves mobilising the business unit to align with RI readiness in Ireland, with travel to client and supplier meetings as required.

Qualifications

• Extensive project management and business management experience.
• Management of high value capital investment projects involving a high degree of client interface within the Rail Signalling industry.
• Delivery of project or portfolios through the full project life cycle.
• Management and integration of multidisciplinary project teams.
• Management of Project Control function covering planning, estimating, financial control and commercial management disciplines.
• Management of company compliance with local Health and Safety statutory obligations.
• Ability to maintain margin in a competitive customer environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of specified projects for Telecoms, Networks, SCADA and SISS for Mainline, Light Rail and Mass Transit railways within the Delivery Organisation.
• Mobilise and align the business unit to RI readiness in Ireland, including travel to client and supplier meetings.
• Ensure safety leadership and environmental management across the portfolio.
• Develop and maintain relationships with the client throughout project lifecycles.
• Monitor progress against programme and budget and drive corrective actions as needed.
• Oversee change management processes and scope/baseline approvals.
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities across portfolio projects.
