Job summary

Amey is hiring a Project Manager to join our Consulting Project Management Practice, based with regional offices in Manchester, Sheffield and York. In this role you will lead project teams, coordinate multidisciplinary rail designs, manage budgets and be the main PM contact for selected projects.

You will mentor junior PMs, drive commercial success, and support bids while upholding safety and quality across NR schemes.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or Project Management.
• APM PPQ or equivalent and membership in APM.
• Proven PM experience, possibly as Assistant PM.
• Capable of acting as day-to-day main PM contact.
• Experience using PM processes to track progress, costs, changes.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control project costs, progress, and variances.
• Lead and mentor junior Project Managers within projects.
• Ensure commercial success of projects in your portfolio.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary designs across rail schemes.
• Liaise with client and supplier representatives; attend progress meetings.
• Contribute to bids and work-winning activities; drive safety practices.
