Job summary

Ford & Stanley is seeking a Senior Project Engineer in Shirebrook to own engineering delivery across the lifecycle, interfacing design, production and the customer to ensure robust, compliant solutions. The role is hands-on, with responsibilities spanning concept through build, test and final delivery.

Qualifications

• Background in rail or rolling stock engineering.
• Experience delivering engineering across lifecycle (concept to delivery).
• Proven capability to interface design, production and customer.

Responsibilities

• Own engineering output across projects, ensuring safe, timely and compliant delivery.
• Act as central link between design, production and customer teams.
• Manage activities from concept through build, test, validation and delivery.
• Produce and review technical reports, risk assessments and docs.
• Resolve engineering and production issues to maintain momentum.
• Ensure solutions meet regulatory, safety and customer standards.
• Communicate clearly with internal teams, suppliers and customers.
