Job summary

RTS Infrastructure, part of Arriva Group, is seeking a Senior Construction Manager to lead multiple railway depot and infrastructure projects. You will guide multidisciplinary teams, ensuring safety, on-time delivery and adherence to budget and quality standards.

You will play a pivotal role in shaping project delivery capabilities, mentoring teams, and driving continuous improvement across our rail infrastructure portfolio.

Qualifications

• HNC/HND or NVQ Level 5 in Construction Management or equivalent is required.
• SMSTS qualification is essential.
• CSCS Black Card (Manager Level) or equivalent is required.
• Full UK Driving Licence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for delivery of railway depot and infrastructure projects.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
• Oversee project planning, resource allocation and delivery strategies.
• Review project plans and manage risks across a portfolio of projects.
• Lead reviews, capture lessons learned and promote continuous improvement.
• Develop relationships with clients, contractors, and suppliers.
• Lead workforce planning and supervise Construction Managers and site teams.
• Support recruitment, performance management and client engagement activities.
